PLEASE SIGN MY GUEST BOOK BEFORE LEAVING. THANKS.
Hi, my name is Carol, my hubby was Jessie. In the pics above on the left side is me with my foundation male, HOKEY,
(right) red sable, 7 1/2 lbs, and my foundation parti male, ROMEO, (left) black parti, 6 1/2 lbs. Hubby is in the pic on the
right with our autistic son Dustin. We started raising the poms in 1992, and love each pom we own and raise. My hubby
was an equal partner and loved the dogs as much as I do. His tribute page can be seen
here.
I work hard to improve QUALITY, and strive for the standard set forth by AKC. My poms are AKC registered, and
micro chipped with AVID chips, the males are DNA certified by AKC as required. I carefully plan and select each
breeding for improvement of quality, soundness of body with Health and Temperament being the top priority. I breed
mostly for PET, while aiming for the "show" quality, with health, temperament and soundness of body being my top
priority, as I want each baby to get a lifetime of love, but also strive to improve quality so those who are outstanding can
also be in the show ring besides being a loving pet. Even those who breed
exclusively for show will get mostly "pet"
quality pups born, and I prefer to have slightly larger then
what is favored for show to maintain sound and healthy pups.
The majority of my pups are 4-6 lbs when grown
so within the standard for the breed. I do my best to ensure all pups are
healthy, sound in body, have a good temperament, are well socialized as well as having the best quality of conformation I
can. I do not breed any dog with a known defect and have been blessed to avoid most of the common issues in poms like
black skin disease, collapsing trachea, etc...
I am the creator of this web site, take care of all the paperwork involved & anything to do with the computer, the
photo's, plan the breedings, etc. as well as the day to day stuff of caring for the fur babies. I oversee the whelping. All
our pups are hand delivered (each birthing is attended), and come pre-spoiled. I work full time with the dogs to help
ensure cleanliness, healthy, well adjusted and socialized dogs and pups. I have had dogs shown with IABCA, an
International registry, and hope to be able to get some in the AKC ring as well in the near future. I hope you enjoy your
visit to my web site, and feel free to
e-mail any comments or questions, as I am always happy and willing to talk about
my babies. All of my dogs are my babies and fur kids to me. I stand behind every puppy born to me, I will take back or
help place any dog or pup that can't be kept for any reason and I am always willing to help anyone learn more about this
great breed of dog.
I thank God daily for being blessed and being able to do what I love most.

I am always striving to improve the lines and quality of pups. I do not call our poms by the proper terms of "bitch" and
"dog" since they are so much more to me. They are our girls and boys as my human kids are. My poms are my 4 legged
babies no matter their age. I am hoping to start showing some of our fur kids in the AKC ring soon as well as thru the
IABCA shows. I evaluate every pup we keep or buy for improving my lines before breeding it. Not all pups hold their
potential when grown. We strive to improve with each breeding. Each breeding is carefully planned out long before they
come of age, and re-evaluated based on each dogs characteristics or flaws before breeding, pedigree's are studied
continually to make the best matches possible always keeping an eye out for improving. I am always happy to talk and
answer questions on my babies anytime and assist others any way I can. I pride myself on my integrity and honesty
regarding my babies and breeding program. I stand behind every pup or dog I sell. I won't compromise a pup just to
make a sale, as the home it goes to is very important to me. I don't rush sending a pup and the pup will be healthy &
stable when it goes to it's new home. I am available at all times for any questions or assistance I can provide.
Most of the pups range from 4-6 lbs grown, and come in a very wide variety of colors. I am working hard to improve size
and quality on the exotics and parti's in particular, but don't slight improving the solids and sables in doing so. I do get
pups smaller than 4 lbs on occasion, and sometimes get the larger version above 6 lbs on occasion. Poms used to be up to
30 lbs so a throwback to the larger size does still sometimes happen to most breeders. We take special care of the tiny
ones as they are prone to (hypoglycemia) their sugar dropping especially as babies. We keep these babies much longer
than most to ensure a safe transition to their new homes. We won't compromise quality of care on any pup.
NOTICE:
We moved to Castle Rock, Washington in Nov 2003! We got a bigger house with 5.28 acres so our babies
all have much more room! We are very excited about the new house. PLEASE NOTE new numbers and
email are 360-274-8960,
cjmshouseofpoms@comcast.net. I will still be shipping from Portland, OR.
SPECIAL NOTICE: I am in the process of downsizing with the poms
since my hubby Jessie p
assed away in 2007, so watch the available page
for upcoming available adults and young adults!
MANY THANKS to my friends and family for the prayers and support
during this very difficult time! I especially want to thank Theresa, a dear
friend here locally for all her help, assistance and support, Theresa of
Pacific Coast Kennels, Jolene of Haven's Poms & Karla of DK Exotic
Poms for their true friendship, help, assistance and support.
UPDATE:
I started breeding the "Designer Dogs" a couple of years ago so on occasion I have a variety of mixes. I breed for
Pom-Chi, Doxie-Pom, Doxie-Chi, Doxie-Poo, Yorkie-Chi, Yorkie-Pom, Yorkie-Poo, Pom-A-Doodles, besides the purebred
Pomeranians
, Chihuahuas and Dachshunds. The mixes are often more sturdy and suitable to family's with kids, and have
great temperaments with sound health and it reduces and eliminates some of the health issues common with the
individual breeds. Health, Temperament, and Soundness of body are our priorities with the Designer dogs and the
purebreds. I am also happy to help place and find homes for rescues of any toy size breed as space allows.
